The Dead Sea Scrolls contain a copy of Isaiah dated back to 100 B.C and Jesus dead in 33 AD. It is 95% the same as the Isaiah written around 916 A.D. Most of the differences are just obvious copying and spelling errors. This shows that the dead sea scrolls have been accurate through the ages. Isaiah is called the 5th Gospel because it tells the prophecies of the coming Messiah which was fulfilled by Jesus in 33AD and the Gospels were written after his death.
Key Verses: Isaiah 7:14, “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.”
Isaiah 9:6, “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Isaiah 53:5-6, “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.”
